" Al-Aqeedah al-Wasitiyyah " is a seminal work by Ibn Taymiyyah , in which the author clearly and concisely expounds the principles of Islam regarding faith, Tawhid (oneness of God), predestination and divine justice. The book is aimed at defending and explaining the correct understanding of the Islamic religion, opposing the deviations that had developed in that period, both among the sectarians and among those who distorted theological concepts.
